Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed her role. The actress did not go on to explore acting as a profession after reaching adulthood, as her parents were concerned about the adverse consequences stress can be a cause of. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry managed to get minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. The feeling of homelessness, however, caused her to move back to California and she returned to work on stage. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway along with her mother. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie together with her in the year 2015. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC political drama Scandal that starred her dad. She played the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. The role was given an audition to the actress, despite the fact that she is a relative to the character.
