Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very well-known. Her family was home-schooled by her mom in the USA. She was subjected to racial taunts and being made to feel unwelcome. In her 9th year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim at an audition. This experience did not just help the confidence of her, but also altered her goals in life. At 22, she graduated from New York's Julliard School. Her professional career began at the age of 23 in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. The character in The Lady of The Lake was her biggest success, and earned her the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her role. In 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. As a professional singer She has also recorded a single as well as an extensive work. In addition, she is an LGBT activist.
