Sharni has been a Australian and American actress. She was born in Australia, Sydney on 22nd July, 1983. In 201, she made her debut as an actor in an Australian soap-opera called Home and Away. She played a small role in only two episodes. In that small role she performed so good that the casting director wanted to cast her in each of the roles. However, she did submit an try out for the role, but was not selected instead during the same episode she got to play the role of Cassie Turner, an unruly teenager placed in foster care. Her performance was highly praised by the public and critics for her portrayal.
